Caramelized Onion Jam

Ingredients
  

  • 100g salted butter
  • 8 large brown onions
  • 1 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups red wine
  • 2 tbsp dried mixed herbs

Instructions
 

  • Cut the onions in fine rings and fry in the butter till glassy
  • Add all other ingredients and slowly cook till slightly caramelizing
  • Cool down and preserve in a glass jam jar
