Hot smoked trout & Asparagus pasta


  • 250 g Hot smoked trout fillet
  • 100 g Asparagus, fresh
  • 100 ml Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Garlic, finally chopped
  • 1 tbsp Chilli relish
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 cups Penne pasta


  • Bring water to a boil, add pasta and a pinch of salt and cook till soft.
  • In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and then add the asparagus. Cook 5 minutes till al dente.
  • Mix the olive oil, garlic and chilli relish together.
  • Either leave the Trout fillet whole, or pull apart to mix into the pasta.
  • Mix all together, garnish with parsley and a slice of lemon.
