Comprehensive Description of Goods and/or Services
Familiér operates as an online retailer specializing in sustainably grown fresh produce and natural products, complemented by in-store shopping available at our Annandale Farm location in Stellenbosch.
Delivery Policy
Orders will be processed on Mondays from 10 am, contingent upon availability and payment confirmation. Confirmation will be dispatched within 24 hours via email or WhatsApp. All orders are shipped through third-party couriers, with contact details provided upon order readiness. Orders are usually shipped on a Friday (local deliveries in the Cape Town area). For outlying areas, we will contact you with an expected delivery date. Delayed deliveries do not warrant returns or refunds. Familiér reserves the right to verify delivery by obtaining a signature at the delivery address, without necessitating personal acknowledgment by the customer.
Note: only DRY GOODS can be shipped nationally.
Free Delivery
Free delivery is applicable to orders exceeding a specified threshold, utilizing courier services, and subject to location. Orders outside standard delivery zones may incur additional charges.
Agreement of Sale
An agreement of sale between Familiér and a customer is deemed valid upon receipt of payment and confirmation by the company. Until payment is received, all goods and produce remain the property of Familiér.
Return and Refunds Policy
Familiér’s provision of goods and services is subject to availability, with customers notified of unavailability and offered alternative options. Orders can only be canceled prior to payment. Upon receiving a damaged or broken product, customers must notify Familiér within one day, providing photographic evidence. Familiér will arrange for a replacement or issue a full refund. Products are sold with a satisfaction guarantee; perishables may be returned within 3 days, non-perishables within 7 days, provided they remain sealed. Returns are accepted only if products are in their original state; opened or used items may be referred to the supplier for resolution, with Familiér not liable for refunds in such cases. In the event of receiving the wrong product, customers must notify Familiér within one day for rectification.
Credit Card Acquiring and Security
Credit card transactions are facilitated through Payfast payment services, employing stringent encryption measures.
Merchant Outlet Country and Transaction Currency
Transactions are conducted in South African Rand (ZAR), with the merchant outlet country being South Africa.
Customer Privacy Policy
Familiér is committed to safeguarding user privacy in compliance with the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Personal information collected is strictly confidential and used solely for order processing and service enhancement.
